Canada’s 911 Ride Foundation’s Ontario ride is this weekend!
Every year, the Canada’s 911 Ride Foundation holds their annual Ontario 911 Ride event, a two-day charity motorcycle ride that takes motorcyclists through multiple cities and towns in Southern Ontario.
2017 is the 12th year for this amazing fundraising event, which will take place on Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th.
The annual event is a police escorted motorcycle ride to raise funds and awareness for Canada’s 911 Ride foundation’s causes. This includes helping families of fallen emergency service personnel, helping children who were victims of violent crimes, as well as working in conjunction with The Mikey Network to make public access defibrillators more readily available to help save lives.
Canada’s 911 Ride is a long-time Mikey Network supporter. Over the years we’ve been able to provide close to 100 MIKEY AEDs through donations from the foundation, totalling almost $200,000.
We will be riding along with the first responders and placing MIKEY’s along the way. If you’re interested in learning more about how you can support Canada’s 911 Ride Foundation, or if you ride a motorcycle and want to participate in this unique police escorted ride, click here to learn more.
