Mikey Network on Hand for Life-Saving CPR Training with Peel Paramedics
Yesterday, the Peel Region Paramedics hosted a free, hands-only CPR event. Participants learned and practiced the life-saving skill of chest compressions on mannequins. The Peel Paramedic Association encourages residents to attend these free CPR sessions.
“Anyone can do it, young or old, and it just may save a life,” said Peel Paramedic Brent Gorzynski.
Along with Peel Region Paramedics, Mississauga councillors Pat Saito and Chris Fonseca, as well as Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services, Peel Regional Police and St. John Ambulance were in attendance.
The Mikey Network had a table there with information and answered questions on defibrillators and the Peel School program. We were more than happy to be on-hand with such wonderful company for this great event.
