Mikey Comes to the Rescue of Mount Albert Firefighters

On Sunday Morning, February 9, Mount Albert Fire Station 26 was destroyed by a fire. They not only lost their firehouse, they lost their 6 trucks and all of the 30 firefighters’ gear. When we heard about the loss, The Mikey Network immediately donated two MIKEYs to replace the defibrillators that were lost is the blaze.

The Firefighters will work out of a temporary facility while a new permanent hall is being built. The process is expected to take 18 months

We can’t help the Mount Albert Fire Department replace the 39 years worth of pictures and memorabilia that was lost in the fire, but we can make sure the Firefighters there have a MIKEY ready if they need one.
