MIKEY AEDs Provide Peace of Mind for ‘Tour for Kids’ Fundraising Event

The Mikey Network is proud to be a part of the Tour for Kids, taking place between August 14-17th, 2014.

This will be the 11th year the Tour for Kids fundraiser has taken place in Ontario. Bike riders will cycle distances of 100km to 250km every day. Money raised goes to special camp organizations that improve the quality of life for children and adolescents living with and beyond cancer.

With the help of volunteers, donors and event sponsors, 100% of the money raised during this event goes to those camps.

The Mikey Network will be donating six MIKEY AED defibrillators for use during this fundraising event. We hope that they will not be needed, but their availability will help give peace of mind to every participant – knowing that help is on hand in the case of sudden cardiac arrest.
