MIKEYs Alongside for the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride

The Mikey Network is happy to be a part of the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride, a life changing ride from Vancouver to Halifax to raise money for childhood cancer.

From September 5th to 21st, cyclists will ride a 17-day, 7,000 km trans-Canada odyssey from Vancouver to Halifax in support of children with cancer. The Mikey Network has donated MIKEYs, aka portable public access defibrillators, to go along for the ride. That way, all the cyclists will know that help is on hand in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest event.

There are many ways you can take part in this wonderful charity event. You can either join as a rider, or join for a short 10-25km ride. You can also help by donating your time as a volunteer, or by contributing to their fundraising goals.
