New MIKEYs for the Township of Scugog

defibrilator donationThe Mikey Network donated two new MIKEYs (AEDs) to the Township of Scugog for placement at the Latcham Center and Birdseye Pool.

 

Present at the placement ceremony were Morty Henkle, Executive Director, The Mikey Network, Hon. Mayor Chuck Mercier, Scugog Township,  and Bruce Farr, Toronto EMS Chief (Ret.)

 

In a letter to The Mikey Network, Kim Coates A.M.C.T., Clerk, Township of Scugog, writes:

“On behalf of Council I want to thank you for the generous donation of a cardiac defibrillator to both the Latcham Centre and Birdseye Pool and your continuous efforts to create public awareness and provide educatons about heart healthy lifestyles.” – Kim Coates, A.M.C.T. Clerk, Township of Scugog

You’re very welcome Scugog. We hope you never have to use your MIKEYs but we’re glad they’re there in the event they are needed
