Thank You Team Mikey for Making the Walk of Life 2014 Such A Huge Success!

Sunday, May 25, 2014, was the 2014 Walk of Life, and thanks to the amazing generosity and support of Team Mikey, it was a huge success!

This was the fifth year that The Mikey Network partnered with the Cardiac Health Foundation of Canada, whose cardiac rehabilitation centres take over where our MIKEYs leave off, helping thousands of cardiac survivors recover and ideally live long and heart healthy lives.

Team Mikey came through in a big way, raising over $145,000 and bringing over 400 participants to the Walk! It’s not too late – you can still donate on our Walk of Life fundraising site.

It was a beautiful sunny day at the Evergreen Brickworks in Toronto. A perfect day to walk or run for all of the kids and kids-at-heart that showed up to support the Cardiac Health Foundation and The Mikey Network.

Thank you to all of the volunteers, walkers, runners, and fundraisers, that made the 2014 Walk of Life such a huge success!
